At the invitation of Swanage British Legion members of Year 6 visited the War Memorial on 11th November and took part in the annual service.  They helped to lay a commemorative cross for every person from Swanage who died in WWI and WWII.  They used information from the memorial to create a centenary thanksgiving display in school for all the Swanage men who died in WW1.  They also helped raise money by selling poppies every day before school and during registration.
