Year 5 spent the morning with Gilbert from Dragon of The South. They learned about the traditional Lion Dance and why it is important in Chinese culture. The pupils were able to dance in one of the intricate lion costumes as well as play the drums, cymbals and a gong.

After some practice time they performed the music and dance to the whole school. One of the children said it was the best morning he has ever had at the school!
