During last half term Year 5 were working very hard with Bea, our CAFOD link teacher to:

– find out about the CAFOD ‘One Climate. One World’ campaign.

– write their own speeches.

– perform their speeches in public.

On the 16th April the winners of the class competition performed their speeches in front of an invited audience including, Richard Drax, members of Swanage Town Council, Year 4 and representatives from Christian Aid, Fairtrade and some school governors.

All the visitors were impressed with their knowledge, confidence and maturity.  Well done Year 5.
