Father Ralph led a special assembly this morning to mark the occasion of the queen’s birthday. We had instrumental and vocal renditions of the national anthem, together with a discussion about what it means to serve. Father Ralph read from The Servant Queen and the King She Serves.
All children are running for 10 minutes every day (as long as it’s not pouring with rain!). It’s not a race, it’s about building fitness and stamina.
Unfortunately the fashion show has been cancelled BUT we will be selling secondhand clothes, cakes and ice lollies for 50p each on Monday 18th April after school.
We are still raising money to buy world gifts from CAFOD. Please send in any donations of clothes or cakes for Monday.
From the Year 6 Fashion Group.
All children enjoyed a session on water, beach and sun safety today. Thank you very much to the excellent RNLI Lifeguards from Poole for interesting and informative sessions.

This morning we were treated to the uplifting story of The Road to Emmaus. Jesus is with us every step of our lives, just like the two friends walking and talking on the road from Jerusalem.
Children from years 3 & 5 enjoyed a brilliant overnight camp on our school field. It was jolly cold on Monday night, but Tuesday made up for it with a warm sunny day. The children took part in setting up camp, games, challenges and activities, all arranged by the leaders from the Allnatt Centre in Swanage, to whom we say a big THANK YOU!
