UNICEF Global Goals assembly

In September 2015, World Leaders committed to the Global Goals for Sustainable Development: seventeen goals to achieve three extraordinary things in the next fifteen years.

  1. End extreme poverty.
  2. Fight inequality and injustice.
  3. Fix climate change.

St Mary’s held a whole school assembly this morning in support of these goals. To find out more you can read the UNICEF page, or watch this film. There’s also a Global Goals Comic Book, or a Global Goals booklet (written by and for children).
