They have started work on repairing the roof and toilets at Nakirebe Primary school – many thanks for all the donations of cakes last term. Our fund raising, combined with generous donations over Easter from the local Easter breakfast, has meant that we have been able to send £1000.

You can also see from the pictures that a large container has arrived. This is the result of a lot of work with another sponsor in the UK. We did send some things to go into the shipment and plan is that the container will be kept by them and fitted out as a play room for the younger pupils.

Last time Brother John visited us he took back some seeds to grow hoping that is would help to vary the vegetable diet for the orphans. As you can see he has been very successful with the courgettes and the sweetcorn is looking good too!!
