St Mary’s High 5 Netball team came second overall in the Dorset School Games. Winning 6 out of their 7 matches. They won 5 out of 5 in the group stage, beating Park School (6-1), Allenbourn Middle (12-2), Sticklands (13-0), St Josephs (11-0) and Downlands (8-2). In the semi-final we were up against the runner-up of group B and we were comfortably able to beat Burton Primary 7-0. However, the final proved one step too far as we were outplayed by a hugely impressive St Walburgas school, 11-0.

Credit to the team and our squad of players who gave up a lot of their free time (including a Saturday!) to reach this high standard and produce our best ever result in the Dorset School Games.
