On Friday 24th May, St Mary’s will be supporting ‘Bring £1.00 to Work / School day. Organised by Wessex FM, who have selected Mosaic this year as their chosen charity. (Please note this is not a dress down day)
Mosaic was created to fill the gap in the provision of bereavement services for children and young people across the county. They provide counselling for children and young people who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling or loved one through any cause of death. They also offer support to families facing the death of a loved one.
As a school we been fortunate to have accessed help from Mosaic for our own children and families within the school. We also received staff training from Mosaic for our ELSA staff to enable them to support children appropriately.
