Urgent update regarding school tomorrow

Dear Parents

After just one day of the Spring Term we are devastated to be back to having to close to all except vulnerable children or those with a parent who is a critical worker.  It would be helpful if you would email to confirm if your child meets the criteria and will be coming in, please confirm if full or part-time. If part time please confirm which days they will attend by emailing the office (rather than phoning please). office@stmarysswanage.dorset.sch.uk

Clarification on critical workers can be found here:

https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-maintaining-educational-provision/guidance-for-schools-colleges-and-local-authorities-on-maintaining-educational-provision

Early Birds will continue to run for those who need childcare before school.

A start on home learning pages for each year group will be on the school website by the end of tomorrow.  Workbook/textbooks/reading books will be available to be collected from school shortly. You will receive notification of when these are ready.

Those children eligible for free school meals who are not attending school will receive supermarket vouchers. Details will be sent out shortly regarding this.

If you have any queries at all, please get in touch preferably via email (office@stmarysswanage.dorset.sch.uk) as we will endeavour to support families as much as possible.

Best wishes,

Maria Gadston
