St Mary’s is delighted to have been recognized in the Swanage Community Awards with the award for Young Person or People of the Year. This is in recognition of “the tremendous work they have done in their efforts for the environment, including working closely with groups like Sustainable Swanage and Surfers Against Sewage who awarded them with the status of plastic free school.”

The award was presented to representatives of Years 5 and 6 at a ceremony held at The Band Stand on Tuesday 25 May. See the story and pictures on Swanage News.
