Nakirebe Primary School – Uganda

Last Friday disaster struck our partner school in Uganda when the year 1 and boy’s dormitory roofs were severely damaged by torrential rain and storms. We are asking for extra support to help them to repair the damage swiftly. Sadly, many books and other resources were also lost.

Help with the fundraising by making and/or buying cakes after school on Friday 7th April @ 3.15pm.

Macmillan Coffee Morning

Year 4 will be taking part in the world’s biggest coffee morning, in support of Macmillan Cancer Support, on Tuesday 11 October from 9 – 10am in the school hall. We would welcome donations of cakes, labelled and delivered to the school hall on the morning of 11 October!

There will be tea and coffee available for a donation towards the charity, along with a variety of games and a raffle that year 4 will be organising. It would be lovely to see as many of you as possible, and it will give you the chance to have a natter with friends.

We thought that children in Key Stage 2 (years 3-6) might like the opportunity to buy a cake at break time. They will be able to do this with their class teacher, if they bring in some change for the charity. Cakes will range from 30p – £1.

Year 4 look forward to seeing you!

Cake Sale for Brother John

cakesale.pngSt Mary’s School Council are holding a cake sale after school on Thursday 15th September in the school hall. All funds received will benefit our partner school in Uganda.

If you would like to contribute something for the sale, please bring it to school on the morning of the sale.

Thank you, The School Council
