Thank you to all who entered the art competition. There were some amazing entries! Congratulations to the winners.
Year 3 spent the day with Darrell Wakeman and created phoenixes in small groups. Recently they were displayed at Rollington Barn for Dorset Art Weeks.
We held a special assembly to showcase the winners of our art competition for Purbeck Arts Week 2018. Well done to everyone who entered our competition, and congratulations to all the winners. Thanks also to Mrs Gray for organizing the fantastic art show of all the work we have done in class for Purbeck Arts Week, and to all the parents, family and friends who came to view.
Here is our tree at the Christmas Tree Festival at Emmanuel Baptist Church. The decorations were made by reception with the help of year 6, and are based on the Christmas carol ‘All Around the World’.
Don’t forget the exhibition of artwork from the Junior Artists competition is on show at Rollington Barn. Some of our winners attended the opening ceremony and enjoyed seeing all the things the different schools had been working on.

Come and view the wonderful work created by young artists from local schools for the Purbeck Young Artists ‘Midsummer Dreams’ competition and during PYA workshops. Refreshments will be available and musical entertainment will be provided by Damian Clarke, who will be introducing people to the beautiful hammer dulcimer and the hurdy gurdy. The PYA show will also be open to visitors daily from 10am – 5pm, 28th May -12th June. More PYA work will also be on show at the DOMVS office in Wareham during the PAW festival.

All our classes have worked really hard producing some fantastic artwork for the Purbeck Arts Weeks. Mrs Gray had the difficult job of choosing which pieces would go to Rollington Barn for the competition. Here are the final choices all ready to be delivered.
