KS1 Fairtrade Breakfast
Thanks to all the children (and parents/grandparents!) who supported our Fairtrade Breakfast this morning. They enjoyed hot chocolate, juice, bananas and toast and jam. Key Stage 2 tomorrow! Also, thank you to the staff and PTA who provided and organized the breakfast.

Year 2 Tigers
As part of their topic on tigers, year 2 had a fascinating visit to Marwell Zoo. In school they prepared and performed a Tiger Dance to accompany a reading of William Blake’s The Tyger by years 5 & 6 – reception were a very surprised and appreciative audience. Later, they shared research they had written up about tigers with reading buddies.

Back in school they wrote a recount of the trip to Marwell. Here are two of these pieces of excellent writing.
Christmas Tree Festival
Here is our tree at the Christmas Tree Festival at Emmanuel Baptist Church. The decorations were made by reception with the help of year 6, and are based on the Christmas carol ‘All Around the World’.

Christmas Tree Festival
Don’t forget the Christmas tree festival at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Thursday 10th – Saturday 12th December. It is worth a visit just to see all the twinkly lights and smell all the trees, but there is also a life-size nativity scene with dressing up! See if you can find our beautiful tree, with decorations made by Reception and Year 6.
