Wraparound Care at St Mary's
Early Birds Club
Early Birds Club runs from 7.45am until the start of school at 8.50am. The cost for attending this club is £1.50 per morning. The club provides childcare only (no breakfast) and pupils will be involved in various games and acitivities until the start of the school day. Pupils can arrive to attend the club between 7.45am and 8.15am. Attendance at the club must be booked in advance via SchoolsBuddy.
After School Clubs
The school runs a number of clubs after school on varous nights. These clubs generally run from 3.15pm to 4.15pm and are free of charge. Please see the School Clubs page for the clubs that are currently running.
Outdoor Schooling
The Outdoor Schooling Club runs from 3.15pm to 5.25pm on Mondays (Years 1-3) and Wednesdays (Years 4-6). The club embraces the outdoors and pupils get involved in trips to the beach, Days Park and the green space opposite the school. Activities include wild art, den duilding, life size snakes and ladders, playground games and campfires. There is always a Chirstmas party and the much anticipated end of year water fight. The cost of this club is £45 per half term.
Explorers After School Care
The school provides a minibus service to take pupils to the Explorers Childcare facitilty in Swanage after school which provides full wraparound care 5 days a week. There is a charge of £1 per day for use of the school minibus to take the pupil to the Club which is in addition to the childcare fees.
