Friends of St Mary’s
Welcome to the Friend’s of St Mary’s (FOSM)
We are a small group of parents, carers, grandparents and friends of the school who work within the school community to support and enhance the educational experience for all at St Mary’s. We hold events and fundraisers to raise money that goes directly back into the school to support a variety of initiatives that benefit our children from purchasing new equipment and resources for classrooms to organising extracurricular activities and trips. The FOSM’s contributions are an essential part of enhancing school life for our students. We are also a social club, with big plans for social gatherings for children, parents and everything in between.
We have recently relaunched the association under a new committee and we warmly welcome new members. To express your interest or to learn more about the FOSM, we encourage you to visit our Facebook page ‘Friends of St Mary’s’ or visit our Instagram ‘friendsofstmarys2023’. These platforms provide a convenient way to stay updated on upcoming events, connect with other parents and engage in discussions related to our community.
We all want the best for our children and there are a variety of ways that you can help with this.

One way is by using the ‘Easy Fundraising’ link when you do your shopping online, there are a variety of shops that take part in the ‘cashback’ initiative. It is of no cost to you, but a percentage of each purchase you make goes to the FOSM.

Volunteering at events:
We post a majority of our volunteer signup sheets on our social media pages. Any time that you can give is a huge help, these events can’t go ahead without our volunteers!
